Holland Venture only invests in industries where we can offer significant added value. At Holland Venture, we believe it is important that we know the market our portfolio companies operate in. Moreover, we develop future scenarios based on extensive market research and experience in order to act as a thorough sparring partner, supporting the management team in taking the right decisions.
As a private equity investor Holland Venture has been active in the Dutch market since 1981. Over time we have realised more than 110 transactions and cooperated with a variety of entrepreneurs, management teams and consultants. Based on these partnerships, we have a wide network consisting mainly of people with extensive business experience in specific sectors, who have dealt with the various challenges facing a growing company.
These ‘sector specialists’ are often involved from the introduction phase and advise both the company and Holland Venture on the opportunities and threats facing the company. When Holland Venture actually becomes an investor, the sector specialist is often assigned as a consultant or member of the Supervisory Board.
