Our approach
At Holland Venture we build long-term relationships with entrepreneurs and managers of companies in which we invest. These partnerships are based on mutual respect and trust and are aimed at jointly developing a successful company.
Throughout the investment process Holland Venture has a strong focus on value. During the investment research phase we determine which factors influence the value of the company. In cooperation with the management of the company, we make plans for strategic development and operational improvements. The implementation of the plans and the adjustments in the process always aim for value growth.
Holland Venture approaches experienced entrepreneurs from its network to contribute to the development of its portfolio companies. We select these ‘sector specialists’ based on their specific knowledge of the sector and familiarity with the challenges of the portfolio company. Our experience of more than 27 years of investing in several Dutch companies has made us a solid partner with an extensive network.
Finally, we attach great value to the standards of corporate governance. We are a member of the Nederlandse Vereniging van Participatiemaatschappijen (NVP), the Dutch Association of venture capital companies and abide by their code of conduct.
