Types of transactions
Holland Venture deals with various types of transactions:
- Growth financing: when a company has attractive growth opportunities, but needs additional capital for growing this potential.
- Management buy-out: when the management of a company is enabled to buy out the shareholders. For example, when the founder of the company is withdrawing or when a company wants to divest a business line that is no longer a core activity. Holland Venture closely cooperates with management to optimize the transaction structure. This type of transaction is used in family-owned companies and larger private and public organisations.
- Owners buy-out: entrepreneurs building their company often have a significant part of their capital locked up in their company. In situations where an owner wants to release a part of this capital, Holland Venture facilitates an owners buy-out transaction. We acquire the agreed equity interest from the owner, partnering up for the company's future.
- Management buy-in: this transaction form is used in particular for companies with succession issues. In such transactions the director-owner sells his company to an external entrepreneur. Holland Venture supports this entrepreneur-manager in financing the acquisition. Holland Venture has an extensive network of entrepreneurs and managers interested in acquiring a company through a management buy-in.
